Dear kindergarten families:
Yesterday I emailed every family and sent a special Seesaw home learning code for each student. Our home-based remote learning for kindergarten will use this Seesaw Class app. If for some reason you are experiencing difficulty loading this app, please let me know as soon as possible so that I may be able to help you. We used this app back in November when we had an eLearning Day on election day. At that time all students were able to use it. This week instruction will take place on this Seesaw Class app every day. (Please be aware that your child will not be able to complete their activities on the Seesaw Family app that you may have for Seesaw. That app is different.) For Monday, March 16, there are 6 activities to complete on the Seesaw Class app. They are: 1. Katy the Kangaroo 2. Fact or Opinion? 3. All About Letter Kk 4. Pigs in the Mud Fact Family Problem 5. Blends Sound Match 6. Jesus Prays in the Garden I will post new activities each day for Tuesday, March 17-Friday, March 20. In addition, I also have two optional links that will contain some activities that can be done for fun learning throughout our extended break. I do not need a response for these activities. They are: 1. Kindergarten Educational Videos 2. Scholastic Learn at Home As I find new learning links or ideas for the students, I will continue to add to these optional sites. Finally, please open up your child's blue Friday Folder before you begin the Seesaw Class App activities. There is a big ziploc bag that contains papers to use with the Seesaw links for Monday through Friday of this week. Your child can send me photos of these papers when specified on the Seesaw Activity links. I do not want your child to return any of these papers when we return to school. I will gather the homework electronically through the Seesaw Class app instead. Your child may now begin working on activities through the Seesaw Class app. Thanks for helping your child learn at home and may God grant you a blessed time with your family over our extended Spring Break! In Christ, Mrs. Cronauer |
